K Star Technologie is a French start-up that holds a patent for an original locomotion method for a motorized platform capable of crossing minefields.
This innovative mode of locomotion allows for traversing mined terrain while limiting the risk of explosion due to a very low ground footprint, thereby preserving the physical integrity of the crew.

The presence of landmines in many countries poses a major risk to people during times of conflict and afterward.
K Star Technologie’s proposed method of locomotion offers:
- Reduced risk of mine detonation compared to tracked vehicles;
- Better absorption of shockwaves in the event of a deflagration;
- Greater mobility, even after an explosion, thanks to sacrificial ground contact surfaces;
- Adaptability to all terrains.
